“Kid in a basement” rumor

On April 13, 2021 MCToon had Flatter Day Saints on his channel for a debate. During the debate, FDS made spontaneous, unwarranted accusations about Toon having a child chained up in his basement.

FDS also mentioned adrenochrome, tying the accusation to QAnon.

Initial Accusation

FDS claimed that rainbows were caused by the firmament and that “You cannot recreate a rainbow in a house without a concave mirror.”

To debunk this, Toon queued up a video by Jimbo Science called “Indoor Rainbow, Flat Earth Debunk”, where a father and his children spray water to create a rainbow inside their garage. As Toon brought it onscreen, the video was paused, showing a child sitting on the floor with his hand on a water valve.

Before Toon had a chance to explain anything or play the video, FDS leapt to making filthy accusations that the child was imprisoned by Toon, possibly a victim of kidnapping, molestation, and/or ritual sacrifice:

FDS: Is that a picture live from your basement, Micktoon?

Toon: No.

FDS: Oh, okay.

Toon: You said—

FDS: I was gonna say, I wouldn’t call the cops if it was, but I would just pray for you, you know, that you let him go. I’m just saying though.

Toon: So here you go.

Toon plays the video

Toon: Got a pipe with a valve on it, and then he’s gonna—

FDS: Does that kid have a shackle around his leg?

Toon: I don’t think so. So here’s the light—

FDS: I thought you guys were preparing that walnut sauce, you know what I mean? For you and the higher-ups—

Toon: Alright. You see that light?

FDS: Okay, cool.

…

Toon regained control of the conversation long enough to show the rainbow demonstration in the video.

Jimbo Science’s indoor rainbow

As FDS began moving the goalposts, Toon closed the video and began pressing FDS to admit that he was wrong. When FDS refused Toon called him a liar, at which point FDS returned to making accusations:

FDS: Walnut sauce, bro. I mean I just saw a little kid in your basement on video, Micktoon, but you know …

Toon: That wasn’t my video—

FDS: (making air quotes, in a sarcastic voice) “But adrenochrome’s not real, they’re not extracting that from little kids!”

Moments later Toon kicked FDS off the livestream, then wrapped up his show.
