Jose J.G. Gonzales, also known online as Jose JG BOOM, is a former proponent of the Flat Earth theory, commonly referred to as a "Flerf." He has since disassociated himself from the movement, becoming part of the growing community of "Ex-Flerfs." Gonzales is primarily known for his content on YouTube, where he discusses a variety of topics, including science, critical thinking, and his experiences within and beyond the Flat Earth community.

Jose JG Gonzalez was an active discord flerf 2017 to late 2018
At some point in 2018 Jeran Campanella donated a Nikon P900 camera to Jose. Jose started to do his own observations using it. After finding observations matching what globe proponents predicted he came out as an ex-flerf late 2018.
In this interview ( Kelly Weill Interviews An Ex Flat Earther 17min mark) he describes his own observations on his own mental process when he interacted with people when he was in a flat earth mind set:
"I'm going to question the globe. I'm going to ask you to tell me again your explanation and at the end of the day i'm going to sweep it under the rug and i'm going to deny what you told me"
After deconverting Jose started his daily YouTube stream Jose JG BOOM on flat earth topics. This channel had some early success as flat earth and globe earth discussions were allowed without people being banned from the channel. The channel last went live May 20, 2023
