Gladiator is a somewhat friendly UK flat earther from Manchester and is primarily known for debating on TikTok. He believes in a designer or creator god, but is not necessarily a Christian. A Live hosted by WhatKast demonstrates his personality and conspiracy beliefs.
Background
Gladiator has numerous followers on TikTok which may have been bought - he claims it's because he creates UFC fighting clips which people like.
Gladiator will claim not to watch others but he has noticed how much Kango has financially supported globers with SuperChats on Youtube.
He has often debated with WhatKast and is known for being dense and dismissive when presented with evidence.
Debate Style
Gladiator strongly favors Globe Denial rather than positive evidence for flat earth. He rejects the globe model and doesn't claim any flat model; he will say the Gleason map is close. He doesn't like to talk about evidence or tests that would support the flat earth, only globe debunking.
Gladiator tries to steer the conversation towards earth movement and spin. He would rather argue for geocentrism than flat earth.
Gladiator also claims not to watch or look up to other flat earthers. However he will use the same arguments used by Dave Weiss, Angels of Light, Witsit, and Soli among others. However when asked about other flat earthers he will claim to barely know them or is vaguely aware of who they are.
Gladiator thinks other people get too emotional when arguing which he thinks is weird. He says the reason he argues is because of the audience members who are watching him debate; his plan is to encourage people to consider flat earth and look into it.
Conspiracy Beliefs
Like many flat earthers Gladiator believes flat earth is the biggest conspiracy kept by the world's governments. He claims to have gotten into flat earth in 2021 due to his own research and not because he followed another flat earther. Gladiator believes earth is flat and stationary and there are no tests that prove movement.
Besides typical flat earth beliefs he also disbelieves evolution and that Covid was a conspiracy.
Concerning TFE he says the fact that the trip was done shows that flat earth has validity. He thinks there was genuine doubt about the midnight sun in Antarctica and the footage of the sun was faked before by recording 12 hours and looping it. However, he also acknowledges the 24 hour sun in Antarctica is real and TFE was the first to get proper footage of it - because of flat earthers.
Flat Earth Arguments Used
- Neil DeGrasse Tyson says you can't see curve from a plane
- Planes fly assuming the earth doesn't spin
- Planes should dip their nose down when flying over the earth
- Plane surveyors measure the earth flat, and Geodesic surveyors simply stich together the work plane surveyors have done and make the maps into a globe
- Surveyors measure the earth as flat
- Since a surveyor assumes the land to be flat the earth is flat
- There are no tests that can demonstrate earth movement
- Artemis did not travel around the moon
- No evidence for gravity
- A picture of a wind farm shows we can see too far
- The Chicago skyline picture is a normal occurrence
- Every camera lens imposes curvature
- The Kip Daugirdas "56 mile above earth" video shows the earth going from concave to convex
- Microwave transmission distances disprove the globe
- Satellites can be tethered
- No one can prove the earth moves around the sun
- Flat earth evidence is being suppressed and restricted
- Retrograde motion disproves the globe
- The sun is not physical and we see an apparent location
- The dome could reflect some kind of sun that wouldn't change in angular size
- There is only point of direction in the sky
- Different points of rotation in the sky doesn't determine the ground - even if there were 5 points of rotation
