Elderbear is a flat earther. This is because he appears to believe that all parallels are horizontal. When he is asked "Are all horizontals parallel?" he refuses to answer because he knows this will cause him to fall under the definition of flat earther. If he does not think all horizontals are parallel, he would be very happy to declare they are not.
ElderBear is a Bevite. That is his papa flerf is Paul Bevan aka Bev. In fact it appears that Bev is papa flerf to only 1 person: ElderBear.
All Bevites are bound by blood oath to never answer questions about what they think the earth is, and all Bevites are bound by the same oath to personally believe the earth is flat. However, this must never be spoken of out loud. Instead they are oath-bound to deflect from such clarification by stating something like "I can prove the earth is not flat" referring to changes in elevation, also called topography.
As if anyone ever imagined that flerfs didn't believe in topography.
Of course nobody has ever thought flerfs disbelieved in topography. It's a dishonest tactic to avoid being held accountable with making a claim. Because claims require evidence and Bevites know there is no evidence for the flat earth they silenetly believe in.
