Brian Mullin

Brian became famous in the FE community when - as a practicing engineer - he posted several videos in a Balls Out Physics series where he ostensibly explained why physics proved the earth was flat. He relied on the physics of the motion of aircraft but made the simple mistake of not accounting for conservation of momentum.

Brian has over 12 years of civil and structural engineering experience in the transportation, commercial, industrial, telecommunications, and residential sectors. He has extensive experience working with city and state agencies, as well as with architects, developers, and contractors. He is currently a professional engineer licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Virginia. In the summer of 2017, Brian successfully completed the FHWA-NHI-13005 Safety Inspection of In-Service Highway Bridges to become a certified bridge safety inspector.

Brian was reported to the state board of engineers by people that were concerned with his mental capacity and his ability to function as a structural engineer.

A post on Bob the Science Guy (AKA ResearchFlatMoon) "Rotating Airports | Brian Mullin - 28/12/2021 by JimSmithInChiaps - He says that he was one of the people that reported Mullin to the state board of engineers - He told Mullin that he reported him and Mullin said that he welcomed the chance to present his FE view to his states board.
