Hello Grahamjj, You added the point that Flatzoid thinks that the sun icon on timeanddate is the actual position. It actually is the sun's position according to timeanddate.

The problem is that Flatzoid doesn't realize that the map is a projection and the sun is on the other side of the South pole on the globe as seen from Union Glacier. As I already showed on the Wiki, Flatzoid sucks at directions.
