His beliefs, whether he wants to admit to it or not, are synonymous with what is commonly understood to be the flat earth paradigm. His avoidance of the stigma is just a tactic, a bad faith one at that, to advance his grift. Bev strategically prescribes language in specific contexts to avoid a very specific association that is already obvious to all listening. This is extremely disingenuous. When listening to the other person, he’ll (mis)interpret their words in the least charitable fashion imaginable in order to pretend their point doesn’t make sense and beat around the bush. This is extremely disingenuous and bad faith.
