David Weiss, also known as "Flat Earth Dave" and by the aliases DIRTH and DITRH (Deep Inside the Rabbit Hole), is a prominent figure in the flat Earth community. He operates multiple YouTube channels and has developed an app related to flat Earth theories.

Lies

• Spreads the lie that American schools once taught flat earth. In his efforts to spread this lie, Weiss has committed elder abuse.

Leaky App

DIRTh's app is spectacularly insecure. It's been known to leak user email addresses, coordinates on the globe, and passwords in the clear since October 2024 and is still not fixed as of February 2026.

Antisemitism

David Weiss is a Jew who had a Bar Mitzvah. On May 21, 2025, he hosted a Zoom call where about 80 Rabbis and devout Jews were invited. Dave brought Austin Whitsitt, a Holocaust denier and antisemite, to the call. During the call, one of the participants asked Dave if he would denounce antisemitism. He refused.

In the email thread after the show, Dave requested to be removed from the email thread, but before he left, he was specifically asked to denounce Holocaust denial or antisemitism:

David Weiss, do you denounce Antisemitism?

A simple “yes” will do.

Or any other response including no response is clearly “no”.

He refused to answer, making his position clear.
