The oxygen-tank videos open with a job claim. On ''Look Into It'' episode 137, 8 October 2026, he says: "Quick background. I managed an industrial gas plant for years. Commander Davenport is an American misogynistic flat earther that spews all the regular nonsense. Prominent on Instagram, most of his videos are just low-effort reaction content to farm likes from other clueless flerfs. He is often seen staring into the camera with sunglasses on, saying something stupid, then cutting away to some rambling without evidence.
He has appeared on podcasts, including recently Flat Earth Dave Interviews.[1]
He has cited Eric Dubay and Mark Knight as catalysts for his flat Earth transition.

Most convincing "proof"
The "one proof that convinced" him is that midnight and midday should "switch" 6 months apart due to the night side of Earth facing the other way.[2] Relative to the background stars, they do, hence the difference in the length of a solar day
versus a sidereal day
.
Transphopia
A good portion of his posts are him transvestigating
well-known women. He has claimed that all of America's First Ladies are "men", and that Hollywood has a "trans agenda". Apparently, Nicole Kidman is a man, and all the evidence you need is that her name ends with "man".[3]
Misogyny
He made an entire video calling astronaut Christina Koch
ugly.[4] He is so desperately lacking flat Earth evidence, he has to be a horrible, disgusting person in order to keep views up. Besides, Christina absolutely mogs him.
He has also liked and engaged with misogynistic comments left on his posts.
The following are from his "debunk" of Astro Alexandra:
Attempt to debunk Astro Alexandra
"Attempt" is being used generously here. He attempted to "expose" a post by Astro Alexandra, which itself was a debunk of moon-landing-denier talking points. (Link to Cmdr Davenport's post)
He very quickly goes from saying "this woman doesn't know anything about light", to saying "the moon illuminates" and is "producing light"; a claim very obviously proven wrong by the fact the moon has shadows.
He then brags about knowing what an f-stop is, citing the fact he has "been a photographer for 15 years" (he has used his phone camera for 15 years).
He then baselessly asserts that Apollo astronauts would need an oxygen tank "the size of a golf cart", comparing spacesuit life support systems to scuba tanks
. He thinks the Apollo 11 EVAs lasted for 21 hours straight, when the longest only lasted for 2 and a half hours. And he has the nerve to say "you don't know what you're talking about
".
Commander Davenport didn't do his research:
Lunar surface EVA times for the first four missions (Apollo 11 through 14) were limited to 4 hours, with oxygen stored at 1,020 pounds per square inch (7.0 MPa), 3.0 pounds (1.4 kg) of lithium hydroxide, 8.5 pounds (3.9 liters) of cooling water, and a 279 watt-hour battery.
Industrial gas
The oxygen-tank videos open with a job claim. On Look Into It episode 137, 8 October 2026, he says: "Quick background. I managed an industrial gas plant for years. Nobody on Earth knows more about tanks than I do." He adds that he has "handled more tanks than anyone... times 1,000." Later in the same interview he says, "I work with compressed air pumps day in and day out. Hands-on primary experience for years," and that when he worked with tanks he preferred no gloves, because one wrong torque on the wrench "and you have a missile."[5]
He does not name the plant, the company, the city, or the years. The episode notes do not give a legal name, so the claim cannot be checked against a personnel record. No news story or company page was found that ties @cmdrdavenport to a gas plant.
On the Flat Earth Dave interview published 5 August 2026 he tells a separate work story, and he does not say the job was a gas plant. He says he quit on a February morning, spent two months in a cabin in Wisconsin, and then started the Instagram account.[6] On the Bravo show he said that account was 193 days old, which is about 29 March 2026. On The Vancrux Podcast of 2 September 2026 he said he had only been posting publicly for about three months, which would be early June.[7] Those two start dates do not match. Neither one names a plant.
The February quit and the 8 October line "I work with compressed air pumps day in and day out" are both his words. He does not explain how both are true.

Look Into It
Episode 137 with Eddie Bravo, 8 October 2026. The oxygen-tank argument, and the four-minute cut posted the next day, is on Commander Davenport oxygen tanks.
Flat Earth Dave Interviews
Debunks
In July 2026, Dr. Blitz stitched and debunked his video on meteor showers.[8] While Cmdr Davenport usually makes his way into the comment sections of posts debunking flat earth, he was nowhere to be seen on this one.
