Back to Terret

Terret Comics is the prestige illustrated companion to a man who will not go on microphone. The series follows Terret from the printer tray to the departure board to other people's floral arrangements — a more ambitious itinerary than most chat-only satellites ever file, and a more honest one: he has always been better at taking what is on the table than at arguing the shape of the table.

Each issue is a public-service announcement dressed as a heist. If you see this man in a blonde wig, he is not Dolly Parton. The mustache is a tell. So is the home-laminated passport. So is the bouquet that used to belong to a funeral. The disguise fools nobody except the plot. That is the Terret method in any medium.

Issue 1: How to Fail a Border Check and Still Get the Flowers

A three-act opera in pink jewelry.

Issue 1. The passport is homemade. The mustache is not.

Issue 2: How to Join the Oakley Ball Club and Still Not Get a Spanner

He printed first class. Oakley never called his name.

Issue 2. The socks noticed. Oakley did not.

Issue 3: How to Join the Mikey Ban Club and Still Not Be the GOAT

He banned the $33.33. Mikey restored the account.

Issue 3. The sticker went on Terret. The goat did not.
