Step 1: upload the image, obviously: https://www.flerf.info/index.php/Special:Upload
The upload page already gives some hint on how to use it:

[[File:File.png|200px|thumb|left|Caption]] to use a 200-pixel-wide rendition in a box in the left margin with the text "Caption" below<br>
</nowiki>
Step 2: find out how you want to use them.
Wikipedia has an introduction on how to use images with examples to give you examples of positioning with relation to article texts:

An other good way is to look at the source of pages here that do what you want to accomplish.
Talk pages are a good place to play around with what you want to accomplish, try to keep the "real" pages more or less clean so there are not "hundreds" of edits (use "show preview" and "this is a minor edit").
If you still cannot get the result you want, ask again and I or hopefully others will chime in.
Have fun.

Hey I added quite a bit to Steve's page. I would like to add a screenshot of Steve's comment during the midnight livestream but not sure how to do that.

Step 1: upload the image, obviously: https://www.flerf.info/index.php/Special:Upload

The upload page already gives some hint on how to use it: [[File:File.png|200px|thumb|left|Caption]] to use a 200-pixel-wide rendition in a box in the left margin with the text "Caption" below<br>

Step 2: find out how you want to use them.

Wikipedia has an introduction on how to use images with examples to give you examples of positioning with relation to article texts: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Pictures

Have fun.
