Flerfs, or flat earthers, are people in modern times who believe the Earth is flat.
.jpg)
"Flerfs" are distinct from historical flat earthers, because flerfs are adherents of Rowbothamism — a distinction which is neglected in this description on Wikipedia
:
Flat Earth is an archaic and scientifically disproven conception of the Earth's shape as a plane
or disk
In reality, the Rowbothamist model is radically incompatible with ancient cosmologies due its denial of sunset. Socially, it's also a dangerous cult that ingests, distills, and breeds dishonesty, mental illness, and bad faith tactics.
