  • curprev 22:5422:54, 17 December 2024 What's Up? talk contribs 472 bytes +472 The images were taken with a Celestron NexStar Evolution 8" telescope with a 40mm lens, using a solar filter obviously. Then my cellphone was attached via a mount to the lens to get the pictures. Natively, the pictures come through the Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope mirrored left to right but I flipped them and cropped the top and bottom of the images to just show the sun in the center. This combination of scope and lens should give a magnification of ~50.
