About Mikey Smith

Mikey Smith is the greatest flat earther of all time. One might say he's the G.O.A.T. of flat earth. Based in Saskatchewan near Regina, Mikey has become Canada's most famous flat earther. When he is not suing the Canadian Space Agency, he can often be found doing flat earth activism from his car adorned with signs and messages about flat earth. Being an avid astronomer, Mikey bought CA $500.00 binoculars which he uses to take pictures of the night sky, revealing the firmament and flat earth below. Even globies like MCToon keep their channel afloat only because everyone wants to see Mikey. Mikey's firmament photographs will be showcased in a museum--as soon as a gallery leaps at the opportunity to make room for Mikey's artwork, that is.

Lawsuit Against Canadian Space Agency

Mikey deleted all comments asking about losing the lawsuit.

On October 6, 2025, Mikey submitted paperwork to sue the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) for CA$ 80,000,000. The CSA responded and requested that it be thrown out and that Mikey get charged CA$ 1,260 for court costs. On November 24, 2025, the The Honourable Madam Justice Christine Pallotta made a final ruling against Mikey Smith, reducing the fine to CA$ 700.

For comparison, most lawsuits in Canada last between one to three years. Having the judge make a ruling in about six weeks implies that Mikey brought forth a weak case with little chance of success.

On November 26, Mikey was doing a livestream and was asked about the ruling in the case. Instead of answering, he deleted the messages. He then called the chat asking about the lawsuit the r-word. [1]

Eventual Response To Losing Original Lawsuit and Appeal

After almost two weeks of silence, Mikey made a live stream video on December 10, 2025. He repeatedly asked people to talk to him about the lawsuit instead of going to other sources. He said this without a hint of iroony after deleting questions about the lawsuit in his last live stream and ignoring subsequent phone calls. He then kicked non-flat earthers from the chat in the current live stream for saying hello.

He claims the lawsuit is still going strong despite the judge giving her final verdict. He further claims that he talked to his lawyer on Monday and is going to appeal. An appeal would be part new case, new court file, and a new docket number; so why Mikey thinks the lawsuit is still ongoing is a mystery. He also said he is sending pictures and videos of stars and the firmament to the judge by the end of Monday despite the fact that appeals go to a different judge, and said appellate judge would not be interested in additional evidence from the lawsuit.

He called the Honourable Justice Pallotta a "moron." He later clarified in an e-mail that he must have misspoke.

When asked about the appeal, Mikey wrote the following:

"My lawyer did not recommend appealing. It's what I am allowed to do."

        - Mikey Smith: Correspondence e-mail asking about the appeal.

Analysis of Lawsuit

Mikey sued for 80 million dollars because he claimed the Canadian Space Agency faking space caused him mental anguish. There is no rule nor regulation stating a Canadian agency can't lie about space, and there would be no way to show the agency knew ahead of time that their lies would specifically target Mikey thirty years later after the agency was founded. So even if Mikey could convince the court that the Canadian Space Agency was faking space, the agency would still not be liable to pay Mikey any money.

Regardless, Mikey's claim lacked any specifics about who in the agency was faking space, how it was being done, and for what reason. This would have made discovery almost impossible. It would be a bit like suing becuase someone you don't like did a bad thing, somewhere, at some time, but not knowing any details over that.

In addition, the 80 million dollars set by Mikey appears to have been a made-up number without any real world basis as to why Mikey should have been afforded that amount of money. Mikey begs for gas money on YouTube--there's no way he personally paid 80 million in taxes to the Canadian Space Agency alone.

"I'm not sure where the $80 million came from. I just think over a 100 million would be too much. Probably not, but we're talking about Canadian space. Agency, not NASA, because I would sue NASA for hundreds of millions of dollars."

        - Mikey Smith: Correspondence e-mail asking about the 80 million dollar figure.

Analysis of Appeal

Based on Mikey's statement of sending pictures and videos of the firmament to the court instead of attempting to show a fault in procedure, Mikey has an almost zero chance of winning an appeal. Even if Mikey were to appeal correctly, he would still have a slim chance of winning. Since Mikey, indeed, could never supply an amendment that would create a valid legal claim, an appeals court would throw out Mikey's appeal. The court will then likely increase the costs placed upon Mikey to between CA $1,500 and CA $3,000, and he would potentially be warned about filing vexatious proceedings.

Allegation of Sexual Assault

There is an allegation that Mikey Smith was once arrested for groping a 16- or 17-year-old, but received no conviction or sentencing.[2] It might be speculated that the lack of consequences was because of diminished responsibility due to mental illness.

Landlord Harassment

In October of 2021, Mikey rented a unit in Pense, Saskatchewan. According to the landlord, Mikey developed "unreciprocated feelings" for her. He sexually harassed her by entering her bedroom several times, uninvited. Eventually, he became hostile and abusive towards the landlord. Mikey then made YouTube videos where he gave the name and address of the landlord. In at least one video, he said the landlord should be hit with a sledgehammer. The landlord reported the activities of Mikey to the police.[3]

Laser Safety Hazard

Mikey owns a seven watt, blue laser. The device is a class IV laser capable of causing eye damage by peering directly at the beam or looking at the laser dot off of a surface. He does not use standard laser protection equipment. He states on several streams that he shines his laser into the sky--in particular towards the moon at night. He does not appear to check for ADS-B traffic to ensure no air traffic is overhead. In one video, Mikey turns on the laser indoors without eye protection with his cat in the room. [4]

That Time Mikey Fried His Webcam With His Laser

The moment Mikey fried his webcam with his laser.

On December 28, 2024 in a Live Stream titled, MOON TALK, Mikey mentioned that the laser will burn "your eyeballs and skin if you're being stupid about it." He then proceeded to be stupid about it and turned the laser on in his apartment without any laser safety equipment. He pointed the laser at his webcam, and instantly fried the sensor.

While potentially tragic, this was also objectively very funny.

Stealing Credit for Discovering Moon Worms From Ryan S

Screenshot from video where Mikey attempts to take credit from Ryan S for moon worms.

In November of 2025, Ryan S participated in a livestream with Roger Ledwell discussing Ryan's discovery of moon worms. In the stream, Ryan lamented that Mikey never gave him credit for discovering moon worms and further claimed Mikey was a "dumbass" for not noticing the moon worms in the first place. On November 9th, 2025, Mikey Smith did a livestream where he attempted to steal credit for the discovery of moon worms from Ryan S.[5] Mikey later created a shorter video attempting to steal credit from Ryan S again.[6]

Ryan S responded in the comments to Mikey's shorter video: "Mikey, I love you.... but c'mon bro.... I'm only trying wake you up... Just calm down dude... bashing you? No... I'm not the first, only or the last..."

If you wish to see Ryan’s moon worms yourself, the video is on Mikey’s YouTube feed. The video is titled “what the F is that at 104 sec PART - 2.” Some claim it’s not a worm but a point-like light source such as satellite. Others might point out that the video is using a long exposure so a satellite would leave a streak on the frame. And furthermore, doubters might also point out that the up and down wiggles coincide directly with the shaky camera work. However, if you relax your critical thinking faculties, maybe it could be moon worms.

Attempt To Measure The Temperature of the Sun With an Infrared Thermometer

Mikey points an infrared thermometer at the sun.

In 2022, Mikey attempted to measure the temperature of the sun by pointing an infrared thermometer at the it.[7] More specifically, he pointed a 35 dollar Titan 51408 high temperature infrared thermometer, held by hand, and took a reading.[8] The thermometer appeared to be peaking at about 200 degrees Celsius. The instruction manual states that the device is rated for temperatures up to 315 degrees Celsius while the Sun's corona exceeds over a million degrees Celsius. The manual further states that the distance-to-spot ratio is set at 8:1. [9]

The distance-to-spot ratio means that an area read by the device at an 800 meter distance will have a diameter of 100 meters. With the sun's distance being approximately 150 gigameters away from Earth, Mikey would have been attempting to read the temperature of an object with the diameter of 18.75 gigameters. The diameter of the sun is only 1.39 gigameters. So, Mikey attempted to measure an object in the sky with a diameter 13.5 times larger than the sun, making the measurement physically meaningless.

Of course, Mikey will claim that the Sun is much closer, but the distance doesn't matter. The average angular size of the sun is about 0.53 degrees. The formula for determining the diameter of an object based on its distance and angular size is D = θ x d.

  • D = Diameter of spherical object.
  • θ = Angular size in radians of the object.
  • d = Distance to the spherical object.

0.53 degrees is 0.00925 radians, so the equation for the Sun becomes D = 0.00925 x d. Therefore the Sun will always have a distance-to-diameter ratio of about 108:1 regardless of how far away someone thinks it is.

Mikey Smith EDM Music Video

AI Mikey Smith flies through clouds.

DJ New Moon, one of Mikey Smith's biggest fans, created a music video titled "Silent Lands (Music Video) Ft. Mikey Smith." The music video starts with some stock footage before transitioning to videos of Mikey Smith advocating flat earth. Highlights of the video include an AI generated Mikey Smith flying through the clouds, stock footage of a man in awe of Mikey's astrophotography, footage of the Flerfmobile, Mikey's rubber chicken, and an AI generated version of Mikey riding a motorcycle. The video ends with Mikey talking about the size of his balls.

DJ New Moon describes the video as "peak time techno 2026." He releaed the music video in August of 2025.

Astronomy

Binoculars and a cell phone camera.

Mikey Smith thinks he is one of the greatest astronomers of all time, believes he has taken images of the firmament, and claims he has shot the first "true" images of stars. You might think he owns telescopes, but no, he only uses some binoculars. In fact, he believes he is clever for deploying binoculars and a cell phone camera instead of a telescope to take pictures of the night sky. It should be noted that retailers often sell binoculars designed for astronomy, and they sell phone attachment accesories for said binoculars. Yet, somehow, Mikey thinks he's clever for discovering this.

Mikey does not use any equipment to help with focus, does not perform maintainance on his gear before shooting, and does not prevent stray light from entering the image train from between the eyepiece and cell phone camera. Likewise, he does not gather dark, flat, nor bias frames for calibration. In other words, he does nothing to reduce artifacts from the imaging system itself from showing up on the final images.

Mikey Digitally Manipulates His Images While Demanding Others Do Not

Mikey Smith demands raw, unedited images from others while only presenting edited images himself; this is likely due to profound ignorance rather than deception. Mikey takes his astronomy photos with his phone using the default camera application. The default camera application does heavy processing on the image before saving it.[10]

The basic Android imaging pipeline includes:

  • Detection and correction of hot pixels.
  • Debayering the sensor data to produce color values.
  • Noise reduction--often involving stacking multiple images, applying a convolution matrix, and/or machine learning algorithms AKA AI.
  • Vignetting and lens shading reduction.
  • Geometric correction to correct for lens distortion.
  • Color and white balance correction.
  • Tone curve adjustment to match colors to the device's color output profile.
  • Edge enhancement to sharpen the image.
  • Conversion into JPEG which is a lossy format which introduces compression artifacts into the image.

In addition, Mikey will also use pinch to zoom which digitally stretches and crops the image. It's not clear if Mikey understands that digital zoom is not the same thing as optical zoom.

Smartphone manufacturers may introduce additional features into the image processing pipeline. One common algorithm commonly added to smartphones is to combine multiple exposures to create HDR images. [11] Some features have even been known to completely fake astronomical objects such as Samsung's AI Moon enhancement. [12]

Mikey admits to using Night Mode in his Samsung's phone's camera app to take pictures of the night sky.[13] Samsung states that Night Mode uses AI multi-frame processing to stack 30 separate images into a single photograph.[14]

Mikey Disparages Flerfs Who Use the Nikon Coolpix P1000

The Nikon Coolpix P1000 is the camera of choice for flat earthers. It has amazing zoom capabilities combined with mediocre optics in a package simple enough that a dummy could operate it well enough. So flerfs often point the P1000 at the night sky and shoot photos and videos of blurry stars with heavy chromatic aberration. Flerfs then make up conspiracy theories about why what they see through the Coolpix is different from a professional astrophotography setup.

Mikey disparages his fellow flerfs who photograph the night sky with a P1000 as seen in this YouTube short where he complains that flerfs that use the P1000 create blurry images. Yes, he said that without a hint of irony. Mikey could be considered the G.O.A.T. of taking blurry images of the night sky with poor equipment. Regardless, his taunting of fellow flat earthers will surely result in some hot Flerf-on-flerf action.

The Flerfmobile

Mikey drives a silver 2016 Subaru Outback which he adorns with magnetic decals, led lights, and large signage claiming Earth is flat. [15]

The Chicken Squack Assault

On the evening of June 28, 2025, Mikey was harassing people from his car about flat earth. A stranger which Mikey insulted then assaulted Michael in his car. The stranger walked up to Mikey's open window and threw punches towards his face. None landed, and Mikey was not hurt. During the incident, Mikey squacked the rubber chicken he was holding multiple times. The stranger then walked away back to his own car. The assaulter came back to appologize to Mikey, but Mikey rebuffed the appology. Mikey then reported the incident to the police. [16] The incident has been forever immortalized in the song, Squack That Chicken, Mikey Smith.

Field Trip To the University of Saskatchewan Observatory

Mikey makes an ass out himself at the observatory.

On May 3rd, 2025, Mikey drove The Flerfmobile to the University of Saskatchewan Observatory. He then live streamed entering the observatory. He pointed to all the pictures and said they are not real. To Mikey's credit, he pointed his camera at a picture of Venus and said, "That's not mars," making him technically correct. He then pointed at a monitor displaying Stellarium and asked, "What is this?" making Mikey the only astrophotographer alive who doesn't know about Stellarium.[17]

Mikey then proceeded into the next room where he made a mess out of books and photographs on a shelf. He picked up raw, developed photographs of the night sky and called them garbage. He tossed around the photographs meant for students and littered them about. He then tossed a globe of the moon on the floor. Afterwards, he looked at a collection of meteorites and claimed that they were actually part of the firmament. He then left his picture of Sirius among the real astrophotography photos.[18]

Mikey then headed upstairs to the main telescope. Mikey said he doesn't have to look through the telescope, but the people in the observatory told him he should. Mikey said he knows what the stars look like, but then got corrected that the crowd was looking at the moon. After being asked to please use the telescope, Mikey refused and said the moon is only about 50 miles away. He walked down the stairs and weirdly claimed there's no such thing as light pollution.[19]

He then headed into the basement after asking a random person why all the pictures are fake. He then stated that all the pictures in the astronomy displays are fake without reading the descriptions. He then called the displays garbage. Mikey then started handing out his picture of Sirius to a woman and claiming only he has real images of stars. As Mikey explained how all space is fake, the woman went, "uh hmm" over and over. The woman then made a nervous laugh--the kind that says, "I'm trying to be polite because if I'm not, you're probably going to hurt someone."[20]

After harassing the students and visitors as well as malign the observatory for which he was a guest, Mikey decided it would be a great idea to set up his binoculars for everyone. He told another visitor outside that his binoculars will "blow your mind." He then continued to harass the other amateur astronomers around him. The astronomers asked Mikey how his phone works and why his images looked the way they do. Mikey replied that he doesn't care how his phone works. The astronomers stated that Mikey doesn't understand saturation to which Mikey quipped that he doesn't care about fancy words. Mikey continued to argue with the astronomers who tried to explain how a phone's sensor works, to which Mikey replied that he's not interested in fancy words again. Mikey then laughed at the people around him when they tried to explain how temperature affects star color. The crowd then told Mikey to behave himself or he would be removed, to which Mikey threatened to sue before telling a woman to "go f**k yourself."[21]

Arguments with the people outside continued, and Mikey finally decided to pack up after spouting profanities at a woman and making fun of her voice. He then swore like a sailor to his audience, dropping f-bombs left and right. Keep it classy, Mikey![22]

About: This is Mikey's claim to fame. He tried to have it placed in a museum. The text in the image says, "Your life has meaning, SIRIUS." Taken literally, it reads as someone giving SIRIUS a pep talk. It's obviously an out-of-focus star--presumably Sirius--where the lenses and coating thereof are creating a rainbow effect.

Signs of Manual Post-processing: Not only has Mikey manually altered the image to add the text, the out-of-focus star itself was digitally cropped out and placed onto a pure black background. This can be verified by stretching the levels of the image to the extreme. If this were a real photograph, the background noise would pop. Instead, we clearly see the outline Mikey used to extract the image of Sirius and that the background is pure black.

About: This Mikey's second claim to fame. Like many of Mikey's photos, it's a slightly out-of-focus star with the camera lenses refracting the light to create a rainbow effect. The caption says "The star Capella" which taken literally means there are many Capellas, but this one is the star. The "wwwtiktok.com231975" text on the bottom is Mikey's user account name on TikTok.

Signs of Manual Post-processing: Performing a principal component analysis of the image shows a lack of noise outside of the star. The background was replaced with a nearly full black background. The RGB value of the background in hex is 010001. There is no deviation. This is on top of adding the text, of course.

About: This is titled "Star Sirius." One assumes this is the star Sirius as seen through a pair of binoculars and captured on a cell phone. The lenses and their coating create a rainbow effect around the overexposed and out-of-focus star.

About: Uploaded to Mikey's TikTok account and titled "Firmament 100%", this photo seems to show blurry, out-of-focus stars from beneath a dimly lit sky. Mikey describes the photo as follows: "Firmament revealed taken with 20x80 binoculars night mode on Samsung."

Target: A patch of the Milky Way in the Cygnus constellation.

  • Right Ascension: 19h 59m 36.525s

Night Mode: Samsung describes Night Mode as a process by which machine learning algorithms combine 30 images into a single shot in addition to using other heavy post-processing techniques.[14]

Light in Sky: Boosting the saturation of the image shows clear red and green hues. Green is the most common color of auroras and occurs due to ionized oxygen between 100 and 240 km in altitude. Red lights are due to ionized oxygen above 240 km. Dim auroras can often look like light pollution without color boosting.

Signs of Post-processing: Mikey states that he took the photo in Night Mode which applies heavy post processing to the image. In addition, dark circles surround stars which indicates the use of an edge-sharpening post-processing filter.

About: This untitled photo is descibed by Mikey as being taken on 20x80 binoculars, using night mode, then manually light balanced. He claims this is proof the firmament is real and that space is fake.

Night Mode: Samsung describes Night Mode as a process by which machine learning algorithms combine 30 images into a single shot in addition to using other heavy post-processing techniques.

Light Pollution: Increasing the saturation of the image brings out the slight green tint of the light pollution indicating that Mikey also photographed a dim Aurora in addition to the stars.

Signs of Post-processing: Mikey states he used Night Mode to take this image and that he further adjusted the light balance. Dark circles around stars indicate edge-sharpening occured.

About: Mikey titled this photo as "Two light sources in the FIRMAMENT D.O.N.E." This photo shows double stars which is a common artifact when photographing the night sky. Either the camera shifted during a long exposure or between stacked exposures.

Claims

Binoculars Zoom In Further Than Telescopes

One common claim from Mikey Smith is that binoculars can zoom into stars more than telescopes. You can see him make this claim in this live stream chat.

"You want the zoom, the magnification."

        - Mikey Smith on why he uses binoculars and not telescopes.

Mikey thinks a larger aperature means that the telescope sees more of the sky. However, he simply does not understand optics. The size of the aperature affects the amount of light that enters the optical train. This is important for optics with high magnification because magnification is actually a function of focal length. The higher the focal length, the more magnification there is. The trade off is that images appear dimmer at higher focal lengths. Thus telescopes compensate with a larger aperature. The dimness can be calculated as one over the square of the focal ratio--the ratio between the focal length and the aperature. So an f10 telescope has a dimness of 1/100th basic brightness, and a f5 telescope has a dimness of 1/25th basic brightness. Doubling the focal length quadruples the dimness of the image.

Mikey obsesses over zoom of binoculars which is calculated with the following:

MA=fofe

The fo variable refers to the focal length of the objective lens, and the fe variable refers to the focal length of the eye piece. This means that the eyepiece will always cause the image to zoom out a bit. So binoculars with a 20 mm focal length eyepiece and 500 mm of focal length from the objective lens has a zoom of 25x.

25=500mm25mm

Professional astrophotrography setups attach a camera directly to the end of the optical train as opposed to an eyepiece. The magnification of the object itself can be calculated as follows:

M=fdof

The f variable refers to the focal length. The do variable refers to the distance to the object. The distances in astrophotography are so great, that the equation can be simplified to the following:

M=fdo

Thus a telescope with a one meter focal length will make an object 3.784e+18 meters away (400 light years) look 2.643e-19 times bigger on the camera sensor.

2.643×1019=13.784×1018m

So an object 5 light years across (4.73e19 mm) at a distance of 400 light years would appear to be 12.501 mm in size on the sensor.

12.5mm=4.73×1019mm×2.643×1019

Note that zoom and magnification are calculated differently, and the former refers to purely optical systems and the latter refers to cameras. Regardless, aperature affects brightsness, not magnification. For maximum magnification, astronomers should use a telescope with a long focal length with a large aperture to compensate for the dimming that occures at long focal lengths. It's almost like those giant telescopes in observatories were designed by engineers who understand optics.[25]

Comet Lemmon is a Hole in the Firmament

Mikey's photograph of Comet Lemmon

Mikey thinks that Comet Lemmon which became visible in 2025 is actually a hole in the firmament. He makes this claim in the video, "THE FIRMAMENT HAS LIGHTS. Comet lemmon."

"That is a light coming through the firmament. That is not a comet in space whatsoever. That is absolute horse manure."

        - Mikey Smith talking about the 2025 Comet Lemmon.

As the name suggests, Comet Lemmon was discovered by the Mount Lemmon Survey--one of the observatories Mikey thinks are faking images of space. Astronomers discovered the comet in January of 2025.[26] Astronomers likewise computed the comet's empherides and predicted its future position. The current empheris data can be found on the astro vanbuitenen.nl page on the comet.

Mikey's binocular setup cannot capture the details of Comet Lemmon's tail. So, Mikey assumes it's a light beam. However, hundreds of photographs of the comet by amateurs with proper astrophotography equipment can be found on AstroBin. Many of these photographs show detail in the comet's tail, demonstrating structure.

Mikey also observed Comet Lemmon rotating with the rest of the night sky at 15 degrees per hour over the course of a few minutes. He thus concluded that the comet does not change position. It moves with the stars in the firmament.

"See how [Comet Lemmon] is moving in conjunction as if [the comet and stars] are walking side by side holding hands. The comet is not moving left, right, up, or down different from the star below it."

        - Mikey Smith talking about the 2025 Comet Lemmon.

Amateur astronomers around the world used the epherides calculated by astronomers to point their telescopes at the comet which would drift slowly every night. At least one amateur astronomer made of timelapse video of Comet Lemmon drifting 69 arcminutes over the course of a 55 minutes. For some reason, Mikey has been unable to predict the future location of the comet by modeling it as a hole in the firmament. In contrast, the globies predict that the comet will return in about 1350 years, but will remain visible in the night sky with telescopes in the southern part of the celestial sphere through 2026 since the comet's orbit takes it below the ecliptic plane of the solar system.

The Moon Disappears From Existence During a New Moon

Amateur HAM bouncing radio waves off of a new moon.

Yes, this is a real claim made by Mikey. If you cannot believe a grown man can think this, go watch him make this claim from his live stream on December 15, 2025 titled, "Globies teach me the moon,, hahhaha".

"The moon is not even in the sky."

Mikey Smith Explaining the new moon.

It's truly sad this needs to be explained to an adult, but things don't disappear from existence just because you cannot see them. Most children learn about object permanence between 18 to 24 months in age.[27]

So, how can we be absolutely certain that the moon doesn't disappear during a new moon? Well, the moon moves predictably in the sky. Every day, it shifts about 13.2 degrees compared to the background stars.[28] That movement continues whether or not we can see the moon at any given time. Also, a day or two before and after a new moon, the moon will often be lit with Earthlight, making the portion usually too dark to see bright enough to be seen with the naked eye.[29] No, the unlit portion of the moon doesn't disappear from existence.

If that's not enough, amateur radio operators often deploy moon bounce--bouncing signals off the moon--to make distant contacts. This can be done during the day by pointing the radio antenna where the new moon should be in the sky.[30] Obviously, you can't bounce radio waves off an object that fades from existence.

New moons occur when the moon is close to the sun in the sky--and thus will rise and set with the sun during the day. A dark moon and a bright sky makes it hard to see. Full moons always occur when the moon is furthest from the sun in the sky and lights up the night. Coincidentally, solar eclipses always occur during a new moon, and lunar eclipses always happen with a full moon. The solar system model has a very simple explanation for this, but Mikey doesn't seem particularly interested in learning about it.

The Stars Always Rotate Around A Point Directly Overhead

Star trails filmed from the equator going straight across the sky to the West.

In Mikey's livestream, "Star trails prove flat earth, globie discussion, show me your model", Mikey claims that the starts should appear to rotate around a point directly overhead--even on the equator.[31]

"We're going to be pretend we're this guy here on the equator. Now, show me how the stars are going to circle above his head... Why are the stars circling around this guys head like this, correct? (makes circular motion cerntered around figure on the equator) Because, that's what they do. You see this with your own two eyes. Why are the stars circling around this guy's head when the earth rotates like this (rotates globe around its axis)? *Laughs* The stars should be doing this across the sky (gestures long star trails around the equator)."

Mikey Smith Explaining how he thinks the stars should move across the night sky..

Of course, directly at the equatator, you see exactly what Mikey described should happen on a globe. Directly East / West, the stars appear to move across the night sky in a straight line. Similarly, the North celestial pole and South Celestial poles appear directly at the horizon to the North and South. So, thank you for disproving flat earth, Mikey Smith.

Globe Believers are Going To Hell

On January 4, 2026, Mikey released a video titled, "POLARIS yup all good." In the video, he claims all globe believers are going to hell. He also mentions something about AI robots destroying flat earthers.

Christians on the globie side, you're going to hell. Yes, McToon, you're going to hell. And don't just come back and say, "Oh Mikey, you're being so mean..." I don't think you and your globie friends are aware of what your AI bots on YouTube come back and discriminate and destroy the flat earthers.

        - Mikey Smith being so mean.
